I have told many creepy old men that they were too old and ugly for me. The son can say whatever the fuck he wants to a predator and if he were to tell her she was too old and ugly himself, he would be just as NTA. There is no set way of handling a predator. I am a nurse. I work in family medicine. I have been exposed so many times I’ve lost count, even though we are not supposed to have symptomatic patients in clinic. Patients lie to get back into my exam rooms. People scheduling patients get overwhelmed and put symptomatic patients in my schedule. PPE was a huge problem until last month. I personally watched n95 masks get handed out to providers after I was in with a patient. I was never offered one. I had to raise absolute hell to get that fixed. In April I got sick and was tested negative twice. Turns out I had pneumonia...got sent back to work the next day. I just recently got sick again and tested negative after the nasopharyngeal swab. I was having a lot of chest pain still and just not feeling great. I just came up positive after a rapid finger stick test this morning. I’m over this shit. My political opinions very much lean towards the idea that the government should exist to help, protect, and serve the people, not control them. I felt, and still feel like, that is the opposite of how our government runs. 4 years ago I was a month past 18 and excited to finally have a vote! I can do something affect change! I can help the world be a better place! I was full of cynicism and hatred for the way the world worked I wanted to do anything to change it. At 18 years old and prepared with a southern public education and the words of my republican father I was so sure that electing a business man and not a politician would help. I completely bought into the Trump campaign, I believed everything he said. I was young and dumb and blinded by my anger at the world and he was going to fix it.
