So I praise my German judical System and they are clearly making a statement here but I leave it with a very tiny question mark at the end - because it feels like nearly anyone from those times would deserve this judgement then. Inactivity on the walls to a concentration camp as a kid, or inactivity when your neighbors get shot or deported as an adult? But happy to discuss this with anyone who has some more input or thoughts on it.

I’m not sure what it’s like where you are, but here in the Great White North, there is a lot of solidarity between the Black and Indigenous rights movements. Black Lives Matter and Idle No More have collaborated before and their messaging often includes each other’s concerns. Often both groups work together with Pride movements as well.
