It was horrifying and made me question whether I was overreacting...to being forcibly raped. Her comment implied that some part of me enjoyed it because he was attractive. I’m not sure what it’s like where you are, but here in the Great White North, there is a lot of solidarity between the Black and Indigenous rights movements. Black Lives Matter and Idle No More have collaborated before and their messaging often includes each other’s concerns. Often both groups work together with Pride movements as well.
