I honestly think periods of spamming 1 hero, 1 role, and periods of trying out other stuff and even randoming are ideal to becoming good at Dota. Also watching replays but people who just play for fun don't usually do that.There is also that even top 100 players are very varied in what they are good at compared to each other. Zai randoms heros and feeds but his deaths are game winning stuff and he is probably the best all-round Dota player.

My wife gave birth to our first child on a Saturday back in March. Our school system shut down the following Monday. I taught my classes from home for the rest of the year and have since been on summer break. 6 uninterrupted months of time with my son. If they told me I had to go into a COVID disaster waiting to happen like what’s going on in this photo... maybe I’d try to sue, but I would 100% quit.
