BKB doesn't care about damage type. There are spells that deal magic damage, spells that deal physical damage, and spells that deal pure damage. These are all blocked/disabled by BKB unless they're specified as "Pierces Spell Immunity." Prior to 7.23, BKB was a "spell" that pierced spell immunity. It no longer is.

My wife gave birth to our first child on a Saturday back in March. Our school system shut down the following Monday. I taught my classes from home for the rest of the year and have since been on summer break. 6 uninterrupted months of time with my son. If they told me I had to go into a COVID disaster waiting to happen like what’s going on in this photo... maybe I’d try to sue, but I would 100% quit. No amount of money is worth endangering my son, and there will (mark my words) be a MASSIVE teacher shortage because of this complete buffoonery.
