These people need a lesson in epistemology. One doesn't know anything FOR SURE unless you observe it directly (even then there are questions of the veracity of first-hand observations). So really, we're always operating on our best guesses of what is happening in the wold around us. They should ask themselves why they are so interested in this particular rumor. Why not wonder if Trump created it? Or maybe Michael Jordan? Maybe Kurt Cobain is still alive, turned evil, and made it? Why don't we entertain these stupid ideas too?

I’m not sure what it’s like where you are, but here in the Great White North, there is a lot of solidarity between the Black and Indigenous rights movements. Black Lives Matter and Idle No More have collaborated before and their messaging often includes each other’s concerns. Often both groups work together with Pride movements as well.
