Totally valid point, however I think the point was that she clearly wasn't listening to the son or acknowledging him being visibly upset. I think OP saw this and their intent was to finally shut her up and shut her up quickly, since what the son had to say didn't matter-and it did work.
Flipping the genders again, if a 40 year old man were creeping on a 19 year old woman, would anybody here raise an eyebrow if he was called a fat and creepy old man? It would just be a complete non issue. Why do you feel the need to defend this woman?

Yeah I'd go ESH with this. The only non-A is the son, who was being sexually harassed and that is never cool. The point wasn't this woman's age/appearance, though, it was that her behavior was grossly inappropriate and stoooop. I don't think it would've been cool to insult a man's appearance if they were creeping on a teenager, either. Not being a dick is different from being kind. Don’t put words in people’s mouth. I believe you missed an opportunity to let this woman know her actions aren’t acceptable. In her head, she will think she was fine and you where just being an asshole. And she’ll dismiss her actions. My political opinions very much lean towards the idea that the government should exist to help, protect, and serve the people, not control them. I felt, and still feel like, that is the opposite of how our government runs. 4 years ago I was a month past 18 and excited to finally have a vote! I can do something affect change! I can help the world be a better place! I was full of cynicism and hatred for the way the world worked I wanted to do anything to change it. At 18 years old and prepared with a southern public education and the words of my republican father I was so sure that electing a business man and not a politician would help. I completely bought into the Trump campaign, I believed everything he said. I was young and dumb and blinded by my anger at the world and he was going to fix it. I’m young, no kids, and have a blast. Plus it’s a good excuse to get out camping every month. I have definitely known as the scoutmaster who will happily help you with something, but who doesn’t suffer stupid questions.  Every crossover group is a patrol. And they keep their patrol the whole time. So there is absolutely no institutional knowledge coming down from the older scouts, it drives me nuts having a Where Was All Lives Matter From 1916 1968 Shirt PLC that’s mostly made up of kids younger than 14. Like… that 11-year old that joined the troop two months ago does not have anything worth contributing to the leadership of the troop. Blech. But the scoutmaster keeps saying if I want his job he doesn’t mind, which I don’t have time for, so… My troop was also primarily scout-led.
