I have bipolar disorder too and I’ve only experienced 1 manic episode in my time since diagnosis, but it feels like you can do absolutely anything and achieve whatever goal you want to. You can be predisposed to it if it runs in your family like if a parent has it you’ll have a risk to get it as well. You’ll have it for life, but it is treatable with medication and counseling/therapy. Healthy habits help as well, but that goes for having good mental health in general.
